Book Recommendation: “See You Again” by Kate Breitfeller

Today’s Book Recommendation is “See You Again” book three of the Dangerous Blooms Series by Kate Breitfeller.

Popular podcaster Camellia Messina, is passionate about shining a new light of justice onto cold cases. While trying to get a “grabby” investor to renew a contract for her podcast, she enlists the last man she would ever think of seeing again for help. James Bloom. James is also surprised to see the woman who broke his heart all those years ago suddenly proposition him for his help. He can’t say no especially when a link is discovered between Camellia’s cold case & the murder of James’ father. Together they must work to unravel the clues along with the their own feelings for each that never faded…before it’s too late.

This book had romance, thrills, crime, and suspense all wrapped up in one! It was like watching a true crime podcast. The details were realistic and accurate. There is even a scene where Camellia wants to do some sleuthing and James calls her out (he’s a prosecutor) that the evidence she illegally collects wouldn’t be admissible in court. I love murder mysteries/crime shows with that romance aspect and usually they are cute but not realistic or professionally accurate. This was not that! It was very realistic/accurate. The attention to detail and ensuring that the information is correct just adds that next level to the book.

I loved so much about this book like the banter between Camellia and James along with all of James’ mothers, siblings, and even the issues between Camellia and her mother. They are all likeable except the bad guy who you really dislike (I won’t give it away).

In fact, I loved this book so much I got books 1 & 2 right when I finished! Amazing read!

Until next time: Happy Reading!
